Additional information: Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) is a leading provider of quality, affordable reproductive health care, family planning services and comprehensive sex education. For the past seventy years, we have been working to provide women, men and teens in the community with the information and skills they need to make healthy and responsible decisions about their lives.
At PPNC’s three health centers in Hempstead, Massapequa and Glen Cove, we offer a wide variety of services, including birth control, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, primary care, prenatal care, HIV/AIDS testing, first trimester abortion and gynecological exams. Through our education department, we provide medically-accurate, open and honest programs for teens and their families on a variety of topics, including puberty, self-esteem, relationships and parent/child communication. And finally, through our public affairs work, Planned Parenthood provides leadership and advocacy for policies and legislation's that preserve choice and guarantee individual rights.
