Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns

What is the best kept secret in the Five Towns?

The Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns

Founded on March 21, 1944, The Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns has grown to become one of the most active community service organizations in the Five Towns. We currently have over 70 members who represent a broad cross-section of the community. Our efforts have allowed us to donate in excess of One Million Dollars to the children, senior citizens and the less fortunate residents of the Five Towns.

Who We Are

We are entrepreneurs, professionals, retirees, and parents who work and live in the Five Towns Community. The Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns is one of 11 clubs which comprise the Long Island Southwest Division of Kiwanis, a part of the New York District Kiwanis, which is made up of over 300 Clubs in New York State. Worldwide membership in Kiwanis International is in excess of 320,000 member Kiwanians in over 80 countries.

Goals of Kiwanis

Kiwanis promotes the adoption and application of higher social, business and professional standards. We give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than the material values of life. Through our club membership, we provide a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build a better community.

What does Kiwanis Membership do for you?

It will provide you the opportunity to return something to the community, for which you either live or work. You will be given the means to help the less fortunate or to improve the community by working in concert with others in a manner that couldn't’t be accomplished on an individual basis. The opportunity for you to become a recognized leader in the community as you accepts greater responsibilities and advance in the different levels of membership.
