Suffolk Coalition to Prevent Alcohol and Drug Dependencies, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)3 agency. Alcoholism, substance abuse and addiction have been said to constitute the greatest crisis confronting America as it moves forward in the 21st century. Research over the last two decades has proven that drug and alcohol addiction is preventable. Prevention strategies must be a critical component for any comprehensive national plan to address alcoholism, substance abuse and addiction.
Through our leadership and use of research-based prevention strategies, Suffolk Coalition makes a significant difference in the well being of all segments of society.
